Medical Associations endorse Greg Steube for State Representative

The Florida Medical Association, PlastiPAC and the Florida Society of Plastic Surgery, Sarasota Medical PAC and the Florida Paramedics have endorsed Greg Steube for State Representative, District 67.

"We are proud to stand behind those candidates who share our mission of protecting patients' access to care. We rely upon our county medical societies to interview candidates and make recommendations, and we are grateful to our Candidate Evaluation Committees for vetting the candidates to ensure that we continue putting our resources behind viable candidates who will truly champion our priorities," said Florida Medical Association President-Elect and PAC President Madelyn E. Butler, MD.

"I am pleased and honored to receive the support of our Physicians and our medical first responders, the Paramedics. We share a dedication to provide all our citizens, but particularly our senior citizens, the best possible health care in the nation," said Greg Steube.

"Furthermore, we share a common vision of how good leadership, a clear focus on objectives and teamwork can overcome a challenging situation. Like me, they understand that we need change; fundamental change that will improve all of our citizen's lives," said Greg Steube.

Greg Steube has attracted a team of the top advisers and supporters in the area including State Representative Ron Reagan, the incumbent Representative, who has endorsed Steube's candidacy to replace him. In addition, Congressman Vern Buchanan, State Senator Michael Bennett, State Representative Bill Galvano, former Senators Pat Neal and John McKay, Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee, Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight, Manatee County Sheriff Brad Steube, and former Manatee County Sheriff Charlie Wells, Public Defender Larry Eger, County Commissioner Donna Hayes, Bradenton City Mayor Wayne Poston, and many more have all endorsed Steube's candidacy and agreed to be part of his team.
