Greg Steube endorsed by Parrish Professionals

"Parrish Professionals would like to endorse Greg Steube for Florida House District 67. We applaud his commitment to small business in our town of Parrish,” said President Jackie Felix.

The Parrish Professionals is a group of local business professionals that works to promote new and existing businesses in the Parrish area through networking, education and referrals.

"I want to thank Jackie and all of the members of the Parrish Professionals for their support. It is so important to have the support of the leaders in our small business community such as the Parrish Professionals. I look forward to working with them to encourage small business growth, economic development and job creation in Parrish and the entire district," Steube stated.

Greg Steube has attracted a team of the top advisers and supporters in the area including State Representative Ron Reagan, the incumbent Representative, who has endorsed Steube’s candidacy to replace him. In addition, Congressman Vern Buchanan, State Senator Michael Bennett, State Representative Bill Galvano, former Senators Pat Neal and John McKay, Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee, Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight, Manatee County Sheriff Brad Steube, and former Manatee County Sheriff Charlie Wells, Public Defender Larry Eger, County Commissioner Donna Hayes, Bradenton City Mayor Wayne Poston, and many more have all endorsed Steube’s candidacy and agreed to be part of his team.

Greg was born and raised in Bradenton, graduating from Southeast High School in 1996. Greg attended the University of Florida where he obtained a BS with honors in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Law. While in undergraduate studies he was extremely involved in on-campus activities, including Florida Blue Key, Student Government, the College of Agriculture and his fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho. In 2000, Greg was one of 21 students throughout the entire university honored and inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame for his leadership and service. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he went on to attend law school at the University of Florida and graduated with his law degree in 2003.

While in his last year of law school Greg enlisted in the Army in the Army’s delayed entry program and after completing the bar exam reported to basic training. After a year in the Infantry, Greg branch transferred to the Army JAG Corps where he completed his last 3 years of service. As a Captain in the Army JAG Corps, Mr. Steube acted as a legal assistance attorney, administrative attorney, operational law attorney, the chief of detainee operations, and as a criminal trial counsel. In 2006, Greg deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 25th Infantry Division.

Currently, Greg practices with the law firm of Najmy Thompson, P.L. in their Lakewood Ranch office. Najmy Thompson is a general practice firm offering services in: wills, trusts and estate planning, tax planning, business and general corporate counsel, land use and zoning, code enforcement, condominium and homeowner’s association practice, general litigation, family and marital law, military law, commercial and residential real estate, title insurance, administrative law, Contract workout, lending practice and other areas.
