Steube joins Najmy Thompson Law firm in their Lakewood Ranch Office

Greg Steube joined the Najmy Thompson, P.L law firm effective April 1, 2009. Greg Steube will be practicing out of their Lakewood Ranch office at 6320 Venture Drive, Suite 104, Lakewood Ranch, Florida 34202. His office number is 941-907-3999.
“I am very pleased to associate with Najmy Thompson. As a candidate for the Florida State House of Representatives, this will allow me to live and work in the district”, Greg Steube said.
Najmy Thompson is a general practice firm offering services in: wills, trusts and estate planning, tax planning, business and general corporate counsel, land use and zoning, code enforcement, condominium and homeowner’s association practice, general litigation, commercial and residential real estate, title insurance,
administrative law, Contract workout, lending practice and other areas. The firm is led by Joseph Najmy, Stephen Thompson, Louis Najmy and Richard Weller.
Greg Steube will be primarily practicing general civil litigation with an emphasis on business litigation, probate litigation, family and marital law, intellectual property litigation and military law. He will also practice in the area of real estate, land use, governmental, agricultural and environmental law.
Mr. Steube was born and raised in Bradenton, graduating from Southeast High School in 1996. Mr. Steube attended the University of Florida where he obtained a BS with honors in Animal Science and a minor in Agricultural Law. While in undergraduate studies he was extremely involved in on-campus activities, including Florida Blue Key, Student Government, the College of Agriculture and his fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho. In 2000, Mr. Steube was one of 21 students throughout the entire university honored and inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he went on to attend law
school at the University of Florida and graduated with his law degree in 2003.
While in his last year of law school Mr. Steube enlisted in the Army in the Army’s delayed entry program and after completing the bar exam reported to basic training. After a year in the Infantry, Mr. Steube branch transferred to the Army JAG Corps where he completed his last 3 years of service. As a Captain in the Army
JAG Corps, Mr. Steube acted as a legal assistance attorney, administrative attorney, operational law attorney, the chief of detainee operations, as a criminal trial counsel and deployed to Iraq in 2006-2007 as a Captain with the 25th Infantry Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mr. Steube announced his candidacy for the Florida State House of Representatives on January 7th, 2008.
